When it comes to playing sports in college, exploring all five (NCAA D I, D II, D III, NAIA & Junior College) College Athletic Pathways right from the start is key. Increased playing opportunities and financial assistance are available when you are acadmically eligible for all divisions of college sports.

Understanding each pathways academic and eligibilty requirements can be very overwhelming.  From core courses and GPA, that will differ from one pathway to another, to SAT/ACT scores and the number of credits needed to be completed all hold the keys to your ability to receive scholarships and have an opportunity to play college sports.  Not to mention the chance your academic counselor not fully knowing and understanding all five pathways who can end up misguiding you.
